We are all animals...
I enjoyed reading the 'animal encounters' a lot. I think it gives a very interesting twist to what we call class dynamics in educational psychology. Of course it's a lot of mumbo jumbo, but there are some home truths as well.
And it was great to see a bunch of 15 - 16year olds enjoying The Singing Ass. Let me just edit that, at least I could see some of you enjoying it. I had a lot of fun reading it.
And rivenscry it's okay to make a few spelling mistakes, thank god actually you make some. I magine how difficult it would get to teach geniuses like you if you never make mistakes.
And threepwood gaybrush(did i get that right?) the comment about Lawrence and his tv deserves an award... i loved it.
HP7 (i am learning the art of shortform from you guys) theories are very interesting. Courtsey Neelesh i read that half baked manuscript and gut feel says Ron's going to die a big, heroic death and quoting saurabhi - 'don't ask me why?' about that. The Neville angle has its merits. Knowing Rowling's devious plotting she will make connections we haven't even thought of.
And going back to animal encounters I thought Chameleon was a very interesting choice for Kabir. Whoever wrote that (and i do know who that was) did a great job.
Question, if you care to comment - Are we humans who tend to be animalistic or are we animals who pretend to be human?

I hpoe this does not sound strange but I think we Are Niether....yes niether not both.
Human natiure is somewat strange(dont think scientifically please my perpose will be defeated....)If we call us animals and survive ...then we may be humans...but as we r not humanns the chances for this are wonderfully slim.(I think i got that mixed up enough for the purpose)lol
Coming back to the point,, animals we can be as we would certainly try to be that "higher individual--humans)but it is a more comforting thought to think of us as humans.Being humans it would be highly illogical(This is quoted from star tref by Spock....he he)to copy animals but remember.....I said humans are very strange....didnt I?
Thank yuou.I think all humans are animals who do not pretend to be humans but over the years have evolved and become civilized.As the guy in the orbit advertisement says"all humans are social animals."
So I don't think humans tend to be animalistic because we are civilized animals.

I personally think that we all are animals who pretend to be human. We have cultivated our instincts (well, atleast some of us), and have the power of speech. But otherwise, basic human nature and basic animal nature is the same - Survival of the Fittest...

I personally think that we humans are animals(social obviously!!!!!If you're thinking anything else then I'm sorry).The only differentiation between us and the animals is that I think they are more sensible than us and I sincerely feel that they're lucky as they do not have the power of speech or else they would turn into "humans".
Ma'm I think Rohan and Kundan are too harsh towards Shobhit. They are collectively planning something against him.I am sure he can't do such things(you-know-what).
Its very difficult to tell whether we are animals pretending to be humans or the other way round.
My take is that animals are what we were about a few thousand years ago. Therefore, we are the developed form of animals.
i think that we all humans are animals. The only difference b/w us them is the intellectual difference and the way of thinking. The main difference b/w animals and humans is that we strive for perfection. Also we r not satisfied with our needs as our wants keep on accelerating whereas animals r satisfied with their needs.
ALSO WE R LUCKY THAT WE HAVE THE POWER OF SPEECH UNLIKE THE ANIMALS.
We all have evolved from animals only.
